Canada imposes trade and diplomatic sanctions on North Korea.

Toronto (Canada), May 24 () .- Canada announced today that it will impose commercial and diplomatic sanctions on North Korea in response to the collapse of South Korean ship "Cheonan, on 26 March and has been attributed to the regime Pyongyang.

The Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, said through a statement that Ottawa "will take steps to impose greater, aion kinah, restrictions on trade, investment and other bilateral relations with North Korea."

The measures include a "suspension of high level visits to Canada from North Korean officials."
