The Chamber of value distinguishes the director with his gold medal and bright.

Villajoyosa (Alicante), July 19 .- The general director of Chocolates Valor, Mayor Pedro Lopez has been awarded the gold medal and the brightest in the Alicante Chamber of Commerce for "having the most technologically modern industry of Spain and to be among the first three of Europe ", according to sources from the institution.

Mayor Lopez was born in, tera gold, Villajoyosa in 1919 and at age 12 joined the familiar chocolate industry, located in her own house, which had been founded by his grandfather in 1881.

In 1940, he took charge of Chocolates Valor, along with his father and brother, and managed to turn the cottage industry of just over 20 square meters in an enterprise that, aika gold, exports its product to more than 30 countries and 90 million euro bill per year.

From the Chamber of Commerce Mayor explained that Lopez has achieved these results "labor and sacrifices," and noted that the company retains its family character and expect professional managers to "have strengthened the strategic decision making."

The company, which is located, sto energy credits, in Villajoyosa, has 29 chocolate shops throughout Spain and launched a chocolate museum in 2006, coinciding with its 125th anniversary.

The Chamber of Commerce has also noted the Mayor Lopez bet made by the industry associations.

The director general of the chocolate company will receive the distinction proposed by the Speaker of the House, Jose Enrique Garrigos, next Thursday during the awards ceremony of the institution on the Night of the Alicante economy.
